Pros

  • Public Starter $99/mo and Signature $399/mo; 60-plus directories plus AI review asks
  • Native Jobber in 2026; keep Jobber as system of record
  • Not a 50-location Chatmeter contract; Amplify is the only Custom column

Cons

  • Print YP is a separate 18-24 month auto-renew; 2026 BBB billed after a written go-down, print locked to Sept 2027
  • SaaS: 3-day refund then 30-day written notice; Trustpilot about 2.3; BBB 352 complaints in three years
  • Kickstart $646 is a 2025 sale page. Stale. Amplify and Boosts are Custom. Tracking numbers do not port.

What it actually does

Thryv is Thryv Holdings (NASDAQ: THRY), Grapevine, Texas. Still live. The company used to be Dex Media and YP. The software on thryv.com is branded Thryv. Do not call it Dex.

The 2026 homepage is an AI growth platform: listings, reviews, a Thryv-hosted site, social, call tracking, and optional done-for-you ads they call Boosts. That is local SEO plus review management. It is not an AI receptionist. It is not missed-call text-back. Command Center WebChat is a human inbox, not a chatbot. A compare table still checks Missed Call Text Back. There is no product page and no SKU.

Business Center is still sold at $185 a month plus $250 onboard: CRM, booking, invoices, ThryvPay. Generic SMB ops. Not Jobber dispatch. Not Dentrix. Not Mindbody. Not Clio. In July 2026 they shipped a native Jobber integration and told home-service shops to keep Jobber as the system of record.

Who should buy it

Buy it

Buy Marketing Center Starter at $99 a month if you already run Jobber and you need 60-plus directories plus AI review asks. Signature is $399: GBP help, Yelp, a designed site, five social profiles, AI Lead Insights. Amplify is Custom. Boosts are sales-quoted and only on Signature and Amplify. Workforce Center $49 sits on the AI-info page, not on /pricing/.

Skip it

Do not buy Business Center if you already have Jobber, Housecall Pro, Dentrix, Mindbody, or Clio. Do not buy it as a phone. Do not buy it if you only needed Google review asks. That is NiceJob at $75.

The catch

The reason not to buy is the paper, and it is 2026, not folklore. SaaS terms (October 1, 2025): three-day refund, then 30-day written notice, month-to-month after whatever term is on the Order, no refunds, Texas AAA, class waiver. Tracking numbers stay with them. Print Yellow Pages is a different contract (March 2026): 18 to 24 month issue, Close Date auto-renew at undiscounted rates, bundle clawback, they can stretch print by six months and drag digital with it. BBB Dallas, live August 25, 2026: A+, 352 complaints in three years, 96 closed in twelve months. Lori L, June 17, 2026: official go-down date, then billed, then collections. Thryv’s own August 3 complaint reply admits a rep failed to cancel and billed again. Another 2026 complaint: digital cancel, print still locked to September 2027. Trustpilot live HTML was CloudFront 403; indexed about 2.3 from 377.

If sales attaches a Real Yellow Pages line, a six-month lock, or Boosts, walk. Get no print, monthly after the Order, and cancel by the contact form, in writing. Sales talk is void unless a signed amendment (Platform ToS section 28).
