What it actually does
Moz Local pushes your name, address, phone, hours, and photos to 90-plus US, UK, and Canada directories. Google Business Profile, Apple Maps, Bing, and Facebook are in that hose. It watches listing health, flags duplicates, and can close some of them. Preferred and Elite add review responding (Google and Facebook only), a CSV email review ask, and social posting. Listings AI and Reviews AI are add-ons. That is the 2026 product.
It is not Moz Pro. Help Hub: separate subscription. STAT is a different $720 rank tracker. It is not missed-call text-back, not an AI receptionist, not a website chatbot. AI here drafts listing copy and review replies. Yelp is not on the 2026 public directory list and not a two-way review inbox. There is no Jobber, Housecall Pro, Dentrix, Mindbody, or Clio page. Moz, Inc. sits under Ziff Davis after the June 2021 iContact sale. Still live. December 2024 was a platform relaunch, not a sunset. Customers had to reconnect GBP and Facebook.
Who should buy it
Buy it
Buy it if you are one location, or a small agency stacking locations, and the job is citation consistency plus GBP. A dentist, plumber, or salon in the US, UK, or Canada can check out without a demo. Lite is listings, review alerts, and the local grid. If you need to answer Google reviews in the app, that is Preferred at $30 a month or $299 a year. Fifty-plus locations is a Custom Enterprise card. That is not Chatmeter’s three-year paper.
The catch
The reason not to buy is the hose is slow and it can shrink. Moz Help, live August 25, 2026: about four weeks for a new location, two to three weeks for updates. Pricing FAQ says it starts instantly. Help wins in the field. Trustpilot, May 2025, Kara, seven-year customer: listings dropped from 115-plus to 32, support hard to reach, a competitor link showed up in a citation. March 2025: Localeze would not take the right category. After you cancel, partners do not revert the listings. They mark them unmanaged. Data aggregators can overwrite the work. Auto-renew is on by default. Cancel in the dashboard at least 72 hours before renewal. Immediate cancel is permanent and burns prepaid time. Local General Conditions: no complete or partial refunds. NY law, AAA in New York, class-action waiver.
