Pros

  • Public Entry $350 / 200 min, Growth $395 / 300, Standard $575 / 400 on answerconnect.com (Aug 31, 2026). Real people, not a bot
  • Appointment booking, CRM hooks (Salesforce, Zoho, Zendesk, Zapier), live chat on Growth and up
  • First 30 interactions under 30 seconds are free each billing cycle

Cons

  • Floor is $350 before overage. $2.50/min on Entry. Setup is $49.99 on Entry and Standard
  • Terms: 90 calendar day minimum. Marketing still says no contract and cancel anytime
  • Minutes round up. Hold and patch time count. Jobber and Housecall Pro are not named on the public integrations list

What it actually does

AnswerConnect is AnywhereWorks, Inc. doing business as AnswerConnect at answerconnect.com. A person answers your shop phone. They take a message, try to book, push a summary into the app, and can sit on website chat when you buy that tier. That is the product. It is not an AI receptionist that speaks for itself. The homepage sells “people, not bots.”

The public plan cards on the answering-services page (August 31, 2026) print three monthly cash floors. Entry is $350 for 200 minutes, plus a $49.99 setup fee, then $2.50 per additional minute. Growth is $395 for 300 minutes, no setup fee on that card, $1.85 overage. Standard is $575 for 400 minutes, $49.99 setup, $1.85 overage. Larger plans sit behind a “View larger plans” control. The separate /pricing URL 404s. The dollars still sit on the live service page and on the homepage plan block.

Billing is whole minutes, rounded up. Chargeable time includes hold and the time spent patching a caller forward (Terms of Service). The first 30 interactions under 30 seconds in a cycle are free. That is a gift for hang-ups. It is not a gift for a five-minute plumber emergency.

Integrations named on the homepage: Setmore, Salesforce, Zoho, Zendesk, Slack, Zapier. Jobber and Housecall Pro are not on that list. Zapier is glue. Do not buy this as a dispatch brain.

Who should buy it

Buy it

Buy it if a missed after-hours call is a real job, you will not put a bot on the line, and 200 minutes is close to a real month at $350. Law firms, medical offices, and high-ticket trades that already pay for a human desk are the honest fit.

Skip it

Do not buy it if you mainly needed a night bot. That is Rosie at $49 or Frontdesk at $99. Do not buy it as the cheap human floor. Smith.ai prints AI Pro at $150 for 75 calls, and human Starter at $300 for 30. Ruby starts at $250. Do not treat the marketing line “we never tie you into a contract” as the whole story.

The catch

The reason not to buy, even when you wanted a person, is the 90-day floor plus the meter. Terms of Service: the agreement runs month to month, and it is in effect for a minimum of 90 calendar days. After that, either side can end it on written notice. The same marketing page says cancel anytime and no contract. Read the terms. Overage on Entry is $2.50 a minute. A busy storm week will eat the allotment and then the card.
